Italian Transfer News
PERUGIA — One of the main headlines of the day came from Sir Susa Vim Perugia, where technical director Massimo Colaci announced the renewal of Oleh Plotnytskyi until 2028. It is a major continuity move for the Italian champions, who keep one of the key players of their recent cycle under contract for the long term.
PINEROLO — In the women’s market, Wash4Green Monviso Volley officially added outside hitter Bianca Bucciarelli. Born in 2001, Bucciarelli arrives after her season with Clerici Auto Concorezzo and brings a background that includes youth development in Italy, four years in the United States at Seton Hall University, a return to Italy with Talmassons in Serie A1, and now a new step with Monviso.
CISTERNA — Cisterna Volley also confirmed the renewal of Filippo Lanza. Volleyball.it’s headline stressed both the player’s continuity with the club and his own words about feeling well there and wanting to keep growing with the project.
A2 Men
TARANTO — Prisma Volley issued a statement to deny reports of economic or budget problems, calling those reconstructions entirely unfounded and harmful to the club’s image. At the same time, the key sporting issue remains open: the club said it is evaluating whether the structural conditions exist to continue its activity, while Volleyball.it reported that participation in next season’s Serie A2 Credem Banca remains strongly in doubt. The result is a clearer distinction between finances, which the club denies are a problem, and the broader question of whether the project can continue at the current level.
Beach Volleyball
BIBIONE — Beach Volley Training confirmed its dominance at the Italian Club Championship 2025/26, finishing first in both the women’s and men’s overall standings and collecting a seventh consecutive national title for the Beinasco club. The season-long lead held by Beach Volley Training in both sectors was confirmed again in the finals on the Bibione seafront.
In the women’s standings, Cus Torino finished second and Cremonarena third; in the men’s standings, Beach Volley Training were followed by Beach Volley Academy and Cus Torino. The event also assigned 18 category titles, with Beach Volley Training winning the boys’ youth title and Beach Volley Academy taking the girls’ youth crown. For the fourth consecutive year, Beach Volley Training will represent Italy in the CEV Beach Volley European Cup.
News FIPAV
MILAN — The Italian federation also defined a new national-team work block on May 24. Head coach Carlo Parisi called 13 players for the Italy Senior B women’s national team camp scheduled from May 25 to 29 at the Centro Pavesi FIPAV, part of the preparation for the Mediterranean Games 2026.
In sitting volleyball, the weekend in Reggio Emilia assigned both national titles. In the women’s final, Dream Volley Pisa defeated I Santi Ortopedie Nola 3-2 after a five-set comeback finish, returning to the top of Italy after their last title in 2023, with Sara Cirelli named MVP.
