Italian Transfer News
The domestic market again supplied the biggest volume of news. Sonepar Padova announced Iranian opposite Amir Mohammad Golzadeh, a 2003-born player arriving after his experience with Grottazzolina and already carrying an Under 21 world title on his resume. Cisterna Volley, meanwhile, completed another piece of its roster with outside hitter Lorenzo Magliano, a 21-year-old from Portoviro who said he chose the project over a more convenient SuperLega option and highlighted the importance of rejoining coach Daniele Morato. Before the season begins, Magliano is also due to play the Under 22 European Championship in Portugal after the recent senior B-team stage in Cosenza.
Conad Volley Tricolore confirmed Czech outside hitter Martin Chevalier for the next Serie A2 Credem Banca season after his role in the campaign that brought Reggio Emilia back up to A2. Farther south, Domotek Volley added middle blocker Daniele Buzzi, a Genoa-born 2000 player who developed with Colombo Genova, played two A2 seasons at Synergy Mondovì and spent the last three campaigns in A3 with Avimecc Modica.
On the women’s side, Trasporti Bressan Offanengo used director general Stefano Condina to frame its next A2 season after a market that brought in eight new players, two confirmations and two returns. Condina described a squad built with youth and experience, stressed the importance of weekly improvement, and pointed to continuity of results as a key objective in a single-round competition that will also feature four relegations. The current roster includes setters Emma Magnabosco and Sara Cakovic, opposite Veronica Taborelli, hitters Jessica Joly, Arianna Visentin, Chiara Costagli and Giulia Resmini, middles Silene Martinelli, Benedetta Campagnolo and Sara Pedrolli, plus liberos Alice Feduzzi and Camilla Riccardi.
